Macao Public Library will be selling back periodicals dated 2016 for charity to make the most of public resources and help people. Each person may purchase a maximum of 20 periodicals. All proceeds will be used to purchase books and reading equipment to be donated to non-profit organisations in Macao.
** To make way for the Opening Ceremony on 22 April, part of the selling area will be suspended till 11:00. The arrangement may be adjusted depending on the actual circumstances.
Macao Library and Information Management Association has designed game booths to promote reading. They may serve as model booths for school libraries to popularize reading.
In celebration of the Macao Library Week, the competition is held to foster children's interest in reading and encourage a better use of Macao's libraries.
The scheme is launched with the aim to promote reading in the campus and encourage reading and thinking become habits. Library users who borrow books will receive books for free.
This exciting quiz competition will, increase participants’ interests in libraries and impart extensive knowledge of library services to them, which is not only helpful to their work, but also enhances their sense of belonging to the library.
